VISA requirements and invitation letter::

A letter of invitation, personalised for VISA purposes, will be made available to all participants with confirmed and fully paid registration.

VISA information:

VISA can be applied for online or at the local/national Portuguese embassy/consulate. Letters of invitation will be available to participants upon written request to the secretariat of the XVIII International Seminars on the Overarching Issues of the European Area.

In addition to all the countries in the Schengen area, the following countries DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA to enter Portugal:

Andorra; Argentina; Australia; Brazil; Canada; Chile; Costa Rica; Croatia; Cyprus; Ecuador; Israel; Japan, Korea (Rep. of); Mexico; New Zealand; Paraguay; San Marino; Singapore; United States of America; Uruguay; United Kingdom; Vatican City; Venezuela.
