WORKSHOP I

"BRINGING HERITAGE TO LIFE THROUGH GAMIFICATION"

This workshop aims to enable participants to apply gamification strategies in the field of cultural heritage, promoting its valorisation and accessibility.
Firstly, the concept of gamification and its relevance in the context of heritage will be explored, addressing its benefits in attracting and engaging the public. Next, the main elements and mechanics of gamification will be analysed, with a focus on their adaptation to cultural and educational contexts. The training also includes the exploration of digital tools that can gamify heritage experiences, from platforms for creating interactive narratives to augmented and virtual reality applications. Through practical activities, participants will develop a structured plan for implementing gamified experiences, taking into account the defined pedagogical and cultural objectives.
Finally, the process of implementing and evaluating gamified experiences will be addressed, exploring methodologies for gauging the impact of the strategies adopted.
This workshop is aimed at professionals in the cultural  and tourism sectors and those interested in the intersection between technology, learning and heritage, providing skills to innovate in the way heritage is presented and experienced by the public.
