Porto is a city shaped by time, rising over the Douro like a watchful sentinel. Its roots run deep\u2014at the highest point, a cathedral from the 12th century stands as a reminder of its medieval past. Below, by the riverbanks, life has long thrived: traders once filled boats with goods, their footsteps echoing on the worn granite pavements, their voices weaving through the narrow alleys. As we explore the historic heart of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will navigate twisting medieval streets, uncovering baroque church fa\u00e7ades, centuries-old houses, and hidden passageways that tumble down the hillside. The city whispers stories of different times and distant places, etched into its ancient walls.   • Departure from Porto:<\/strong> InterRegional (IR) departing from Campanh\u00e3 train station at 9:25 a.m.<\/strong> and arriving at Rede station at\u00a011:05 a.m.<\/strong><\/li>
  • 11:05 a.m.<\/strong> \u2013 Collection of participants at the \tRede station by municipal minibus (limited to 30 people)<\/li>
  • 11:30 a.m.<\/strong> \u2013 Official welcome session in the Great Hall of the City Council.<\/li>
  • 12:00 a.m.<\/strong> \u2013 Interpretative walking tour of the town of Mes\u00e3o Frio starting in the cloister of the Varatojo Convent and ending in the Pelourinho Square<\/li>
