        WORKSHOP III<\/strong><\/h3>

        Resilient and Sustainable Tourism<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

        Description:<\/strong>The \u201cResilient and Sustainable Tourism\u201d workshop will take place on 23rd May, with three presentations between 9.30 and 11.00 a.m. and a round table from 11.30 a.m. to 13.00 p.m., including participatory activities. It has been developed in partnership with the University of Porto and CEGOT and is part of the \u2018XVIII International Seminars on the Overarching Issues of the European Area\u2019. Resilient and Sustainable Tourism is considered an extremely relevant topic, as it contributes to the preservation of a destination\u2019s natural and cultural heritage. By adopting sustainable practices, such as the promotion of responsible tourism and the conscious management of resources, the tourism destination guarantees the durability of its tourist attractions for future generations. In addition, the sector\u2019s resilience allows it to face challenges such as global crises, guaranteeing economic stability and maintaining local jobs. In this context, the integration of sustainable initiatives not only preserves the unique beauty of the territories, but also strengthens their reputation as a responsible and resilient tourist destination.<\/p>
